Learning about water resources by practice, experience, and travel.  This is the motto of a special course on “Water Resources: Science and Policy” for approximately 40 university students from Vietnam and the USA that  was conceived by Dr. Daniel Suman from the University of Miami in Miami, Florida,  USA and supported by a grant from a univeristy consortium on the Atlantic coast USA.  Students from over 10 universities may participate in this course opportunity.  The Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) has been the host institution for the course in Hanoi, Vietnam.  The course coordinator at HUMG is Dr. Pham Quy Nhan from the Department of Geology.
