The short course of reflection seismic profiles

Within the framework of ENRECA project funed by Denmark government, Hanoi University of Mining and Geology and University of Copenhagen, Denmark will organise the short course “Introduction to basic interpretation of reflection seismic profiles”. The course lasts from Wednesday 9th November 2011- 1 pm until Saturday 12th November 2011. It will be held at Hanoi University of Mining and Geology. The course will concentrate on basic interpretation of reflection seismic profiles during alternations between lectures, small exercises and hands-on larger exercises. The exercises will be on papersections. Topics to be covered: Seismic stratigraphy, practical aspect of migrated profiles, practical aspects of velocity, practical interpretation technique.
